INSULATED SKIRTING

INSULATED SKIRTING SYSTEMS  by UCandDesign

In the Manufactured Housing Community the effects of  SUBZERO WIND CHILLS can be devastating to water supply supply lines, drain lines, and electrical connections located under your unit.  Costing you thousands of dollars in Emergency Repair, Insurance Deductibles, and Raised Dividends if these repairs are claimed too many times. In the region in which we live there are few a precautions a homeowner can take to overcome these devastating consequences.

HERE AT  Unique Concepts and Design we have designed a Insulated Skirting System.that will combat these. First and foremost it blocks the wind and its crippling effects while still allowing the unit to breath per HUD Standards. Secondly, it provides an R-10 Insulating blanket around the skirting  perimeter of  your home, keeping pipes and other vulnerable systems from freezing and becoming inoperable as well as keeping your floor warmer due to these insulating properties.

It's Concept    Owens Corning  Foamular 250  2"  Extruded Polystyrene Insulating Sheeting is fastened to the inside of the aluminum and/or vinyl skirting at the channel using plastic washers and non corrosive screws. Access panels are integrated into the system and labeled at  MAIN WATER SHUT OFF  and  HAVC.   6" aluminum vents are installed in panels to vent and allow system to breath. To learn more about Owens Corning Foamular 250 and other insulating products, Visit to there website. @ www.owenscorning.com
